**Reports To**

Senior Accountant/Controller

**Summary**

The Billing Specialist will primarily be responsible to bill customers accurately in a timely manner and ensure receipt of invoices. Also, perform routine clerical accounting duties within a fast-paced finance department while adhering to established standards. The working hours are 7AM - 3PM from Monday to Friday in the Milton facility. This will be a 6 month contract with a chance of extension and/or converting to full-time.

**Job Duties**
- Create invoices and credit memos according to company standard practices
- Verify billing transactions
- Send invoices to consumers
- Interact with the sales team, shipping and other departments on a day-to-day basis
- Filing of billing documentation
- Digital record keeping of invoices
- Perform other related duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- Minimum of one year of experience in Billing or Accounts Receivable - New grads are encouraged to apply
- College diploma in relevant field, preferable accounting/commerce
- Basic understanding of clerical and administrative procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to solve problems as they arise
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$43,000.00 per year
