Reporting to the Director of FP&A under the Cloud Renewals Operations Group, the Manager role is responsible for managing and overseeing a team of 5 direct reports focused primarily on the OpenText’s Cloud Enterprise Managed Services revenue. The individual will be a financial advisor and act as a key interface with cross functional teams. The position requires an individual with a high degree of autonomy, a broad understanding of the business, accounting principles and finance. Strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize input from multiple sources are a must.

A successful Manager will be able to plan, organize, lead, control and implement continuous improvements for the efficient and effective operations of his/her team.

The role will be responsible for:

- Developing revenue estimates, operating plans / forecasts / reviews, OP (operating plan/budget) and/or corporate reporting
- Providing monthly/quarterly financial closing/estimates and communicating current financial results and estimates to functional leaders
- Serving as a Subject Matter Expert for the business
- Liaising with various organizations including Renewals, Sales, Accounting, Billing, HR
- Building relationships with leaders to build an improved process for consolidation of estimates and actual financial analysis and metrics
- Partnering with functional leaders to create long range plans and short range forecasts, understanding / evaluating key function drivers; supporting Sales, Finance, Professional Services and Revenue Recognition organizations
- Understanding and explaining variance drivers within the business unit
- Identifying risks & opportunities during each quarter and working with functional leads to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities
- Implementing process improvements

Job Requirements:

- Strong Team Management and leadership skills
- Strong Staff and Professional development skills
- Strong group presentation and organizational level communications skills with Senior Management in a fast pace, high-visibility role within a global company
- Degree in business/finance/accounting, MBA or professional designation (CPA/CGA/CMA) preferred
- Technology industry experience preferred
- Strong analytical skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and minimize financial risks
- Reporting Expertise Must Include Proven, Hands-on, Expert level Experience with:

- Building data models in Excel - Expert
- Excel with specific knowledge in VBA, Power Query and Power Pivot - Expert
- Proven capability in financial and accounting procedures, such as budgets, or P&L statements
- Self-starter working under mínimal supervision with cross functional teams to drive stated goals
- Ability to prioritize multiple deliverables and execute tasks with short lead times
- Train, utilizing change management methodologies to ensure your peers and stakeholders successfully use new processes
