Volunteer Junior Instructor Summer Camp

Calgary, Canada Little Medical School Full time

High school students in Grade 10-12 Volunteer to support our Little Medical School instructors to help create an amazing health and medicine-related summer camp for kids ages 6-12 this summer July to August 2025.

Key Duties:

- Must be able to commit to at least three entire weeks (4 hours per day) of volunteering and/or assigned schedule
- Support our Little Medical School Instructors to help create a safe and fun environment during facilitation of summer camps
- Create a welcoming and youth friendly classroom space
- Provide a positive interaction with students with an emphasis on health and science
- Maintain order and sanitation of classroom materials and supplies
- Provide leadership and participate in camp activities, sharing enthusiasm for each activity
- Must have strength and endurance required to maintain consistent supervision of campers for a 5-day camp
- Enforce appropriate safety regulations and emergency procedures
- Assist with clean-up of camp spaces throughout the day
- Other duties as assigned

**Job Type**: Part-time

Expected hours: 20 per week

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- Day shift
