The Retail - Inside sales rep is accountable for working closely with the Strategic Account man-ager Retail to develop a highly effective sales channel strategy, thereby improving ABB’s market penetration and customer readiness while meeting profitability targets. As a Retail Inside Sales rep, you will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the ABB cus-tomer relationship and providing a professional ‘easy-to-do business with’ strategy. You will be responsible to manage ABB systems and customer requirements in managing orders, inquiries while supporting sales and marketing initiatives to grow our business, margin and market share. In addition, the Retail Inside sales rep is expected to maintain a relationship with our key cus-tomers ensuring collaboration with the SAM and Marketing teams. The role is responsible for being supporting, planning, and coordinating, key strategic initiatives to ensure sustainable growth and high levels of customer satisfaction, while continuously moni-toring the overall channel’s performance
**Your responsibilities**:
- Support Strategic Account Manager (SAM) in their negotiations and yearly Business Presentations
- Assist team in Category Review process (positioning & tactical plan) with Retailers
- Work and support Retail Presentations
- Inventory checks and Purchase order management
- Customer returns / product replacments
- Work with team on products w/ low margin / set targets for improvements
- Work with team on Quality issues and how to address situation
- Take charge of Quality issue that is 'sensitive' and that might be declare to H&S Canada
- Participate in internal Retail business meetings
- Provide Data and details to assit in category reviews
- Influencer within the organization keeping Retail needs in mind
- Helping Bromont with Retailers special requirments or issues
- Assist overdues with retail team
- Support Retail Division Sales Forecasts/Budget with the SAM
- Support Retail Marketing Product Plan
- Help build forecast with SAM (by sku) and with Customer MAT team to plan accordingly
- Working w/ planners & plants to meet production needs on specific project / customer
- Develop personal objectives (some from the Team, some personal)
- Analyze Customer purchases - using Sales reports
- Analyze Customer POS - using Customer's data analytics
- Price increase - develop pricing per account according to ABB objectives in cooperation with SAM.
- Develop & Publish MSRPs externally
- Complete customer documentation and paperwork
- Customer visits - stores & meetings
- Particpate in (attend ) customer Buying Shows, and customer / Industry events
- Ensuring proper processing and handling of POs
- Stay knowledgeable on Market Indicators, Competitive landscape and relate how it impacts our current and future busines
**Your background**:
- 3-5 years in retail related industry
- Post-secondary school required.
- Inside sales or customer service experience preferred
- Demonstrate effective communication skills
- Strategic thinker
- Customer focus oriented
- Technical and analytical
- Willingness to learn
- Fluent in French & English (spoken and written)
- Motivated, self-starter, able to work independently
- Proficient with Salesforce CRM, Power BI and with Microsoft office products
- Team player with strong customer focus
- Ability to travel
