We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This position is essential for supporting the overall operations of our restaurant/hotel and contributes significantly to the hospitality experience we provide to our guests.
**Duties**
- Operate dishwashing equipment and maintain cleanliness of all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.
- Ensure that all kitchen areas are kept clean and organized throughout the shift.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support cooks and kitchen staff.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met.
- Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items when necessary.
