**Salary**: $3,548.95 to $4,842.27 bi-weekly ($92,627 - $126,383/year)

**Role Responsibilities**:
OPGT Central Region has an exciting temporary opportunity for someone to demonstrate their leadership capabilities in the role of Public Guardian.

As the Public Guardian, you will use your knowledge and understanding of various acts (Personal Directives Act, Mental Health Act, and the Adult Guardianship and Trusteeship Act) as well as your knowledge of the ministry and branch business plans to direct the delivery of services in the Central Region.

Your leadership skills will allow you to expertly lead the teams located in Red Deer and Lloydminster and manage the Central Region budget.

You will be a key member of the Senior Management Team, using a strategic mindset and strong drive for results to lead initiatives that continuously improve the quality and provincial consistency of Public Guardian operational policies, services, and resources.

Your ability to build relationships will be key to your success in creating collaborative and meaningful associations with diverse senior stakeholders and service providers within the branch, community, and the ministry.

**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Recruitment Standards**:

- University degree in social sciences, law, education, or another related field, supplemented by a minimum of 6 years progressively responsible experience delivering services to adults with diminished capacity.
- Demonstrated leadership and/or supervisory experience. Please include an example of your leadership skills in your cover letter.

**Equivalency**:

- Related experience or education may be considered as an equivalency on a one for one basis.
