Job Description:
Floor Refinishing Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Floor Refinishing Technician to join our team. As a Floor Refinishing Technician, you will be responsible for refinishing and restoring various types of flooring, including hardwood and staircases.

Your attention to detail and expertise in floor refinishing techniques will be crucial in delivering high-quality results to our clients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and clean the floor surface before refinishing, including removing old finishes, adhesives, and imperfections.
- Repair any damaged areas of the floor, such as cracks, scratches, or dents.
- Operate and maintain floor refinishing equipment, such as sanders, buffers, and polishers.
- Ensure that all safety protocols and guidelines are followed during the refinishing process.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific refinishing needs and provide recommendations when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper disposal of waste materials.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in floor refinishing techniques.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Floor Refinishing Technician or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of different types of flooring materials and their refinishing requirements.
- Proficiency in using floor refinishing equipment and tools. - Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality results.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle unexpected challenges during the refinishing process.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Good communication and customer service skills.

Schedule:
Monday to Friday Approx. 8am to 6pm, weekends as needed.

Transportation: Will be provided at the Keele and Wilson intersection.

Compensation Details:
Starting at $22.00
- May increase depending on experience and ability to improve skills

Work Remotely
- No

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 45 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

Work Location: On the road

Expected start date: 2024-12-09
