Position: Specialist, Product Capability Team

Key Job Elements:

- Review and/or develop routings, maintenance instructions, SB/SD, Retrofit as required
- Provide technical assistance and diagnostic guidance for fleet support and depot upgrade programs
- Provide on-site technical and maintenance support to field personnel and vehicles as required
- Liaise with Engineering and Production on potential vehicle problems
- Maintain vehicle information tracking requirements within the applicable databases for both GDLS-C and customer requirements
- Analyze site reports and support issue resolution if required
- Perform RECCE effort for sustainment activities
- Maintain vehicle history reports
- Identify technical manual discrepancies and follow up with ED&D
- As required attend design review meetings
- Support Reliability, Availability, Maintainability Demonstration (RAMD) testing
- Provide ongoing support, as required, to Training, PHS&T, STTE and Technical Support functional teams

Required Qualifications:

- College diploma within technical field, or licensed Truck/Coach or Automotive Technician, or Military equivalent
- Minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities on multiple LAV (Gen II / Gen III) platforms
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and CPR/SCR/CCR/CCO and ECP process
- Proven knowledge of Oracle, CSETS, TeamCenter, and TipQA
- Understanding of SOWs and government contracts
- Strong administrative, organizational, analytical and decision making skills
- Ability to possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport
- Must hold or be able to obtain Canada Secret Level II Security Clearance and CUI clearance
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Access, etc.)
- Must be able to meet Anthropometrical Size Restrictions for confined workspace
- Proven ability to perform well in a team based environment with mínimal supervision
- Demonstrate ability to effectively manage multiple activities under rigid time constraints and effectively interact with internal and external customers
- Valid driver’s license and ability to qualify for DZ license
- Valid RPAL or ability to qualify

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience and knowledge in military logistic support concepts and doctrine
- Background in LAV product knowledge
- PMP certification
- Mechanical knowledge of weapons systems currently used of LAV platforms
