Arvin Sango Canada Inc. (ASCI) is an automotive component manufacturer, specializing in vehicle exhaust systems and welded structural components. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated **Production Control Specialist** to join our team.

**This position is straight afternoon shift, from 4:30pm until 1:00am.**

As the Production Control Specialist, you will be responsible for forecasting and planning for production demands, aligning with company and customer requirements. Your attention to detail and knowledge of production control processes will be essential in this role. **Responsibilities**:

- Conduct regularly scheduled cycle counts to confirm inventory accuracy.
- Monitor and track the inventory of materials and parts needed to complete production requirements.
- Effectively communicate with Members to clarify needs and expectations.
- Ensure alignment between material availability and production schedule.
- Prepare and maintain various reports and spreadsheets to display work progress, materials used, rates of production, and other production information.
- Track and report production metrics and performance to ensure.
- Occasionally responsible for build out; this position prepares build out numbers, creates inventory sheets, and conducts inventory counts, manages shortages and obsolescence.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Completion of relevant post-secondary education preferred.
- 2-3 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Direct working knowledge of operations, warehouse, and transportation management.
- Strong knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering, as well as inventory control.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks.
- Ability to analyze complex data from many sources.
- Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good knowledge of the Toyota Production System
- Excellent computer skills

Work Conditions:

- Overtime may be required.
- Flexibility to work both day and afternoon shift hours when needed.
- Work in both office and plant floor environments.
- Manufacturing environment.

Overtime is required, often on short notice, including some weekends and holidays. Please ensure you can accommodate this schedule before you decide to apply.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- Secondary School (required)

**Experience**:

- Production Control: 2 years (preferred)
