**Job Type: Temporary, Full-time**
**Location: Mississauga, Ontario**
**As an Administrative Support I**within our **Auxiliary Bureau**, you will be responsible for performing a variety of clerical and administrative duties for the Auxiliary Police.
**What will your typical day look like?**
- Schedules appointments and arrange meetings and conference registrations.
- Tracks and maintains Auxiliary Officer recruit applicants using PeopleSoft Human Resources Management System (HRMS); maintains and updates HRMS Job Data for Auxiliary Police officers.
- Liaises with the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services, Human Resources, Recruiting, and other internal personnel for hiring and resignation processes and Service Awards
- Assembles training documents and binders for incoming Auxiliary recruit classes. Schedules and arranges locations for Auxiliary Training.
- Schedules Auxiliary Information Sessions, meetings, interviews, testing, and Pre-Background Questionnaires (PBQs).
- Prepares and arranges documents and appointments for new hires, including fingerprinting, oaths, Equal Opportunity (EO) surveys, and HRMS hiring forms.
- Coordinates, plans, and participates in events and functions on behalf of the Auxiliary Police Program (i.e., Auxiliary Graduation Ceremony, Annual Inspection, Family Night, Awards and Recognition Ceremonies, etc.).
- Sources quotes, arranges venues and procures event supplies.
- Coordinates the administration of the Auxiliary personnel duties; posts and tracks events on “Auxiliary Connect”, arranges and coordinates patrol escort duties.
- Processes financial documents related to current and/or capital budgets, express purchase orders, purchase requisitions, cheque requests, and expense claims; reconciles monthly p-card charges against VISA statements; processes course registrations.
- Maintains an up-to-date and accurate electronic and hard copy filing system.
- Sorts and distributes incoming mail and processes outgoing mail.
- Answers telephone inquiries and distribute messages.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.

**You are someone with**:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent, plus additional office administration course(s) and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of one year of related experience is required.
- MS Word-Intermediate
- MS Excel-Intermediate
- MS Outlook
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Human Resources Management System (HRMS).
- Well-developed keyboarding and data entry skills.
- Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills.

**What we offer**
The hourly rate for this **temporary, full-time** position is **$26.44.**
