**The Role**:
The People & Culture Coordinator is creative and organized with a knack for hospitality. You cultivate a positive workplace that promotes Farmboy’s core values of authenticity, collaboration, and curiosity. The role will be a bit of a swiss-army knife that is best fit for someone who likes to take on a variety of tasks and learn new things. There will be opportunities to support in many functions of the business including hiring, onboarding, employee events, office coordination, and IT administration. This is an on-site position that suits someone who is service oriented, organized, possesses strong communication skills, and multitasks effectively.

**What you do**:

- Assisting in HR functions such as hiring, onboarding, and engagement programs.
- Office coordination including internal communications, managing maintenance partnerships, ordering F&B and supplies, and ensuring the office is organized and welcoming space.
- System administration support such as data cleanup, managing account licenses, communicating with our IT support firm.
- Assist the team and department heads with special projects or with administrative duties on an as needed basis.
- Responsible for front of house duties including answering phones, building access, stocking and expensing of supplies and overall office organization as required.
- Support Human Resources in the design, administration, and execution of onboarding and training programs.
- Plan and execute office events and programs for the entire team in support of continuous culture building.
- Continuously seek out opportunities to support other departments in administrative duties.
- Support in the facilitation and administration of the HRIS system.
- Coordinated the framework for internal onboarding and training.
- Administrative support for payroll and benefits.
- Supports MSP partners and other technology partnerships that support employee efficiency & workflow.

**You bring**:

- Technologically savvy with an ability to learn new systems and optimize efficiencies
- Capable of working independently, self-driven and proactive. Seeking out ways to service and support departments.
- 2+ years of administrative experience in an office environment.
- Excellent communication skills in written and oral English.
- Experience coordinating events in support of company culture.
- Flexible, able to take on new tasks, and learn new skills.
- Posses a high degree of confidentiality in dealing with employee files.
- Must be able to work onsite Monday to Friday in our East Vancouver office.
