DASCH is a non-profit organization established in 1974 dedicated to exploring and meeting the residential, day program, respite and foster care needs of youth and adults. All our programs are based in Winnipeg. Our residential program consists of over 50 homes, our day services program consists of two day programs and our educational program called DASCHWorks supports people in finding and maintaining meaningful employment. **Position Summary**

As our organization is growing, we are looking to hire an additional Learning & Development Coordinator to deliver training presentations to employees, assist with creation of training content, communicate with managers to identify training needs, and support development plans for teams and individuals. This is a term position with the possibility of becoming permanent.

**Role & Responsibilities**
- Schedule training sessions with employees through communication and coordination with department managers.
- Teach employees through lectures, demonstrations, discussion groups, workshops, field assignments and independent or group projects.
- Assist in creating training courses and courses content.
- Evaluate the outcomes and measure effectiveness of training sessions and maintain records of trainees’ progress and achievements.
- Provide one-on-one training or instructions to employees who require it.
- Support independent or group projects, field placements or hands-on training.
- May support committees concerned with matters such as curriculum revision, and course requirements.
- Assist with online learning management system.
- Other People Resources administrative duties as required.

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Comfortable with public speaking or speaking in front of large groups.
- Proven work experience as a Training Coordinator, Trainer, Facilitator, Coaching or in a similar role.
- Attention to detail and ability to problem solve.
- Creative thinker with an open mindset.
- Hands-on experience supporting multiple training events in a professional setting.
- Adequate knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools.
- Familiarity with traditional and modern job training methods and techniques.
- Experience with e-learning platforms.
- MS Office proficiency.
- Post-Secondary education in Human Resource Management or Business Administration is preferred.
- Two years of experience in Disability Support and/or a suitable combination of validated education and experience is preferred.

**Schedule**:

- Full-Time Days
- Monday to Friday
- Must be able to flex work hours based on position needs
