The Human Resources Assistant will be reporting to the National Human Resources Manager and Talent Acquisition Manager.

**Role Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Support all internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests.
- Maintain digital and electronic records of employees.
- Assist with benefits administration.
- Facilitate employee onboarding packages through DocuSign and related software.
- Assist with performance management procedures.
- Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events, and maintain agendas.
- Coordinate training sessions and seminars.
- Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
- Complete job-change paperwork, such as raises, promotions, terminations, etc.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
- Participate in Occupational Health and Safety activities.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects and provide support to the administrative and leadership teams.

**Job Requirements**:

- Pursuing or completing post-secondary education in Human Resources and/or Business Administration.
- Knowledge of and experience working with local HR legislation.
- 6 months to 1 year of HR or related experience is preferred.
- Excellent English language skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to work in our Vancouver, BC office.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Comfortable with Google Workspace and general technology/software.
