- Patient Registration Clerk**DEPARTMENT**:

- Patient Registration**CONDITIONS**:

- Temporary Part-time (0.40 FTE) for approximately two (2) months**HOURS**:

- Approximately 30.0 Bi-weekly Hours**SHIFTS**:

- Days / Evenings- 7.5 hours per shift-
**WAGE RANGE**:

- Scale Minimum Maximum- NONU $26.09/hr $31.62/hr**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Perform all Admitting/ER/MNB Scheduling/Registration, Bedboard and Census functions
- The incumbent will utilize an automated CPI/ADT computer system to process out-patient, day surgery and in-patient admissions
- Receive and document patients. Complete financial transactions as required.
- Provide communication between patients, physician/nursing and support personnel

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- High School Diploma
- Completed Medical Terminology course is required
- Accurate typing with a minimum of 60 wpm is essential
- Knowledge of computers/general office procedures
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to cope effectively with multiple demands and stressful work environment
