Recruitment Manager

**Required Education and Experience**:
- College degree in Human Resources Management or similar field; or equivalent Human Resources experience; Human Resources designation preferred
- Strong communicator in the English language, both written and verbal
- Minimum 5-7 years Recruitment experience in manufacturing industry preferred
- Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency
- based etc.)
- Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference checks etc.)
- Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- High level of time management and ability to lead Recruitment Strategy for open positions
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Strong Knowledge of HR Recruitment Best Practices
- Strong knowledge of workplace legislation, employment law and compliance
**Essential Functions**:
- Design and implement overall recruiting strategy for difficult to fill positions
- Partnering with hiring managers to determine staffing needs
- Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
- Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards/ newspapers/colleges etc.
- Source and recruit top performing professionals by using various sources ie. Linked IN, social media etc.
- Strategically partnering with HR Managers to improve productivity and reduce turnover
- Perform background and reference checks
- Track Recruitment Matrix's for open positions
- Abide by all Company polices including, but not limited to the following: Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, Human Resources policies, and the Martinrea Employee Handbook
**Work Environment**:
- Both office setting and production environment
- Constant communication with employees, peers, and management
- Overtime as required
Physical Demands:
- Ability to work on computer for long periods of time
- Ability to be present on the production floor on a daily basis
**Health and Safety**:
- Must work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, Company and plant rules, policies and procedures
- Must use or wear Personal Protective Equipment and certain clothing as required by the Company
