**Responsibilities**:
**What do our Recruiters do?**

As a Talent Acquisition Recruiter, you would be responsible for partnering with Hiring Managers within that market, sourcing and screening applicants, interviewing for hourly and salaried positions, and assisting in job fairs and other outreach events. This individual will have considerable skills in interviewing techniques, a good knowledge of all clerical and specialized functions in Human Resources, a basic understanding of the corporate and field organizational structure and has no trouble communicating with others in a friendly but professional manner.
- Identifying hiring needs, developing job descriptions, posting vacancies on ATS/Indeed/LinkedIn/University portals/Social Media Platforms and eventually HRIS
- Arranging pre-employment checks such as criminal background checksand reference checks
- Ensuring all onboarding paperwork for new hires is sent and received
- Maintaining compliance with federal and provincial regulations concerning employment
- Enrolling new hires in regulatory compliance trainingas required
- Reporting on recruitment statistics including, but not limited to, openrequisitions, start dates, source, time to fill etc.

**Job Requirements**
- Bilingual
- French and English preferred, but not required
- Undergraduate degree in Human Resources or related field
- Knowledge and expertise in HR procedures and Employment Law
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and enhanced organization skills
- Significant knowledge of hiring processes
- A strong understanding of best practices and current regulations specific to HR
- Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters
