**Accounts Payable Coordinator**

We are looking for a self-motivated full-time **Accounts Payable Coordinator **to join our property management accounting team.

We are a medium-sized and locally owned property management company that prides ourselves on providing a fun, friendly and collaborative work environment. Our customer base encompasses a wide range of client categories including commercial properties, commercial strata, industrial, retail and residential rental properties across Metro Vancouver. We pride ourselves on the level of service we deliver to our clients.

**Duties in this role include**:

- Interact with property managers, ensuring proper authorization of invoices for processing
- Review, code and post invoices in clients’ records
- Monitoring multiple trust bank accounts, including pooled accounts, together with property accountants to ensure appropriate bank float levels are maintained
- Manage weekly cheque runs and timely payment schedule
- Manage vendors on PAP and online payment plans and post transactions
- Handle calls from suppliers and reconciliation of vendor accounts
- Perform related work as required, as supports for other accounting team members, where needed
- Adhoc projects

**Education, Experience and Skill Requirement**
- Ability to manage high volume of transactions monthly with high accuracy level and to work under pressure is required
- Experience working in a paperless environment, or semi-paperless environment or have a strong understanding of electronic file management is desirable
- 1-3 years of experience in an AP role is ideal
- Completion of some bookkeeping/accounting courses is ideal; but strong work experience is acceptable
- Property Management experience is an asset
- Excellent knowledge of Office Suite is required (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Experience with Yardi Voyager is preferred but training is available
- Critical thinking, excellent communication and organizational skills are required to cope with the complexity due to the nature of the property management industry

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
