What will you do as an Accounts Payable Clerk?LMI Technologies is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. Working as part of our global Finance team and reporting to the Accounting Manager at our head office in Burnaby, a successful candidate will ensure efficient processing of vendor and employee payments, maintain strong vendor relationships, and contribute to the overall financial integrity and operational efficiency of the company. This position plays a key role in the financial period-end closing process by providing support in reconciliations of accounts.Full Cycle Accounts Payable Processing: Review, verify, and accurately match vendor invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentsProactively identify and resolve discrepancies, collaborating with purchasing and receiving departmentsReview, verify, and accurately process corporate credit card and employee expense reports to ensure they are in accordance with LMI’s Company policyPerform timely and accurate entry of invoices into NetSuitePayment Execution: Process vendor and employee payments (EFT, ACH and wire transfers) using NetSuite and banking platforms in a timely mannerVendor Relationship & Data Management: Ensure the accurate and complete setup of new vendors within NetSuite, manage AP inquiries, and reconcile vendor statementsMonth end:Reconcile trade and intercompany payablesReconcile inventory received not billed and inventory received not creditedReconcile prepaid expensesReconcile monthly credit card payments and processing intercompany billings/paymentsPrepare monthly AP accruals and related journal entriesOther:Identify opportunities for greater efficiency and accuracy within the AP functionServe as a primary point of contact for AP inquiries from internal departments and external vendors, resolving issues collaborativelyProvide support for various ad-hoc accounting projects and duties as required by the Finance teamWhat do you need to be successful?A post-secondary education, with a focus on accounting coursesA minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Payable or a similar accounting roleExceptional verbal and written communication skillsA keen eye for detail and strong organizational abilitiesA self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude and a commitment to achieving resultsThe ability to thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative teamPrior experience with NetSuite and G-Suite are considered an assetSalary Range: $49,100 - $65,962
