**WHAT WE OFFER**

We estimate the salary range for this position to be between $45,000 - 55,000 annually. Additionally, we offer extended health and dental benefits, Group RSP with employer matching, a generous bank of wellness days, and industry perks. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience

**JOB PURPOSE**

The Accounts Payable Clerk position exists to ensure the timely and accurate processing of the organization's financial obligations to its suppliers, vendors, and creditors. The Accounts Payable Clerk plays a crucial role in maintaining positive relationships with external parties and preserving the organization's financial reputation. Specifically, the Accounts Payable Clerk verifies and records invoices, reconciles accounts, processes payments, and resolves any discrepancies or issues that may arise. This position also supports internal departments by providing accurate financial data and assisting with inquiries related to vendor payments. Overall, the Accounts Payable Clerk position is essential for maintaining the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the organization by ensuring that all financial obligations are met accurately and in a timely manner.

**RESPONSIBILITY**
- Monitor accounts payable inbox, appropriately filing correspondence
- Accurately code and enter accounts payable invoices
- Obtain appropriate approvals for invoices in line with established approval matrix
- Prepare cheque payments and electronic bank payments
- Preparation of supplier account reconciliations
- Assist in reconciling payable related accounts
- Maintain accounting controls by following policies and procedures
- Prepare monthly internal financial reports
- Other duties as may be assigned
- Diploma or Degree in accounting or business field
- General knowledge of accounts payable, general accounting
- Quick learner with a strong work ethic
- Flexible and adaptable to a dynamic work environment
- Team orientated with open communication style and demonstrated ability to show initiative
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and successfully manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Effective written and communication skills
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with Netsuite an asset
