The Driving Force Group of Companies is looking for a Health & Safety Coordinator to join their growing Safety team The Health & Safety Coordinator will support the health and safety program through monitoring of and participation in day-to-day safety activities and larger projects. Reporting to the Health & Safety Advisor, the primary objective of this position will be centered around coordinating efforts with branch personnel to improve overall safety at Driving Force.

Main Responsibilities (not limited to)
- Maintain driver evaluator status and evaluate drivers as required.
- Achieve and maintain COR Auditor status with Driving Force’s certifying partner.
- Compile monthly HSE statistics including exposure hours and incident tallies.
- Assist or conduct incident investigations per Safety Advisor assignments.
- Support branch personnel in developing, reviewing, and updating formal hazard assessments and safe work practices.
- Maintain incident and complaint reporting system through data entry and follow-up.
- Submit WCB Employer reports in a timely manner.
- Assist or lead as WCB liaison between worker and WCB case manager per Safety Advisor assignments.
- Coordinate with branch personnel to arrange appropriate modified work agreements.
- Responsible for maintaining third party pre-qualification websites (e.g., ISNetworld, Avetta, ComplyWorks).
- Ensure new hire safety orientations are completed.
- Assist with HSE communications to branch personnel, JOHSC, and Safety Representatives
**Qualifications**:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Recognized National Safety Construction Officer (NCSO) designation or equivalent preferred
- Equivalent training and/or experience will be considered
- Valid Driver’s License and Driver’s Abstract acceptable to TDF Group’s Driver and Vehicle Safety Program.
- Some travel to other locations will be required
- Strong organization skills and ability to multi-task
- Intermediate ability to use Microsoft Suite (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Experience in data entry
- Excellent customer service skills
