Front Desk Supervisor

**Job Summary**:
- Responsible for overseeing daily front desk operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and supporting the overall function of the club. This position will be responsible for (at times) opening the club and being the supervisor on duty. They will also ensure that all front desk activities are managed efficiently and that the club runs smoothly with no operational disruptions. The role requires leadership, problem-solving, and strong communication skills to enhance the member experience and support internal team coordination._
**Responsibilities**:
- Greet all members, guests and staff promptly and professionally
- Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service and enforcing club policies
- Address member inquires, concerns, or complaints with a positive and solution-oriented approach
- Ensure smooth check in/out process for all members and guests
- Monitor Daily and Future operations to ensure the club runs without disruptions
- Maintain and update Member Information in the Clubs database
- Handle cash and process payments accurately
- Assist with all things memberships sales
- Quickly address and resolve any operational issues
- Work closely with the Assistant Manager/Executive Director to anticipate potential problems and implement preventive solutions
- Assist in the coordination and promotion of club events, clinics, and lessons
- Oversee the administration of the tennis booking grid and club programs (e.g. clinics and lessons)
- Assist in supporting Ladders, Round Robins, and club tournaments
- Monitor Club activity for adherence to Club Code of Conduct
- Assist in the creation of engaging social media content (videos, images, stories, etc.)
- Monitor social media Channels (Facebook, Instagram), and respond to comments, messages, and mentions to foster community engagement.
- Assist with cash handling and reconciliation.
- Open and /or Close the Clubhouse, including the activation of security alarms
- Provide additional support to other departments as needed
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a front desk or customer service environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint),
- Experience with Canva and a Member Management Software (Asset)
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, and able to lift items up to 30 pounds.
- CPR (Level C) and First Aid Certification
- Smart Serve
- Food Handling Certificate (Asset)
- Background/Knowledge of Tennis (Asset)
- Bilingual, English/French (Asset)
**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 5 months
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
