Front Office Supervisor (ANdAZ) Join to apply for the Front Office Supervisor role at ANdAZ. Overview We are looking for a Front Office Supervisor to provide leadership to the front desk team, ensuring understanding of policies and protocols. The Supervisor serves as a listening ear and a compassionate face for both guests and team members, and has a strong grasp of Hyatt and Andaz knowledge. The Supervisor distinguishes when issues are within their realm or require escalation. The Supervisor assists the Front Office Manager with day‑to‑day activities of the Front Desk, Valet, and Night Audit. By embracing Andaz’s values, they ensure seamless service from pre‑arrival to departure, motivate, train, and develop staff, and maintain high standards of performance. What Is Expected of Me in This Role? Provide leadership support to desk hosts during some opening and closing shifts without a manager present. Ensure checklist items are completed daily with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency. Act as first response to emails regarding guest requests for folios, respond to other departments, and maintain a Call Log. Learn the billing process and grow to complete billing with assistance as needed. Familiarize team members with Luxury and Loyalty programs for all guests. Execute and maintain tasks related to supply orders, weekly inventory, and par levels as delegated by FOM. Communicate kindly and effectively with team members to create a smooth flow of business at the desk/bell. Participate in projects and education assigned by leadership. Hold the team accountable through coaching and guidance. Act as manager on duty (applicable to evening or weekend shifts). Be at the desk alongside hosts, and if two hosts, work nearby to be available as needed. Hold valid work authorization for Canada. Skills and Qualifications Experience and thorough understanding of Front Office operations. Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with a variety of people from many backgrounds. Experience with Opera, Colleague Advantage, and Hyatt systems preferred. Motivational and compassionate leader who can function independently and as part of a team, unafraid to ask questions, and able to provide exceptional customer service. Excellent organizational and administrative skills. Ability to work morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight shifts (if required).
