**Responsibilities**
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for various menu items, ensuring quality and freshness.
- Support cooks in meal preparation by following recipes and portioning food accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe dining experience for customers.
- Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and notifying supervisors when supplies are low.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during peak service times.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in food preparation and safety practices.

**Skills**
- Experience in food preparation or service is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential.
- Knowledge of food handling techniques and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere while maintaining a positive attitude.
