**Position Summary**

Sasco Contractors Ltd is a dynamic and growing electrical contractor in Burnaby, BC committed to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture. We are currently seeking a dedicated Project Coordinator to join our growing Projects team.

The Project Coordinator is responsible for working closely with the Project Manager to coordinate and assist with organizing of project activities from the project initiation stage to the project closure stage. The Project Coordinator will have a strong focus on delivering excellence to the customer.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and is a great stepping stone towards becoming a Project Manager. As a Project Coordinator, you will gain valuable experience and develop essential skills that will prepare you for advanced project management responsibilities.

This role reports directly to the Division Manager and collaborates with the Project Managers and Project Administrators.

**Key Responsibilities**

As a Project Coordinator your job duties and tasks will include but not be limited to:
**Project Initiation**: Assist with the completion of pre-qualification and tender documentation, and assist with the coordination of the start-up meeting.

**Project Planning**:Prepare all health and safety documentation required prior to the project start, issue purchase orders to suppliers, distribute shop drawings, organize and print manuals, setup e-procurement systems including arranging any health and safety specific supplies and PPE.

**Project Execution**: Ensure health and safety related compliance reports have been completed, issue RFIs, administer change requests, occasional site visits, recording and distributing meeting minutes, and assist with the preparing of site specific job procedures.

**Project Monitoring**:Material tracking, ensure the site Foreperson has the latest specs and shop drawings and review daily project reports.

**Project Closure**:Prepare close-out documentation, arrange final permits, confirm no outstanding items prior to notifying the Project Administrator to close the job.

- General contractors
- Engineers/architects
- Service customers
- Vendors
- Internal staff and management

**Qualifications**
- At least 2 years in the construction industry, preferably with electrical experience.
- Red seal certification is an asset.
- Tech savvy with proficiency in using Microsoft suite of products (Outlook, SharePoint, Forms and Lists).
- Proficiency in SiteMax is an asset.

**Skills**
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communicator and collaborator with project managers and other team members.
- Proactive with the ability to anticipate project needs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
