**About us** Frederick + Sherwin is a trusted accounting firm in Sherwood Park, providing various professional accounting services including year-end accounting and tax filing for individuals and companies, bookkeeping services and other related consulting engagements. You would be joining an office of 6 full-time professional staff in a friendly, client-focused environment that has many internal and external demands of various shapes and sizes to address throughout the day. Our family-founded office was established in 2009 and continues to evolve with technology, our client needs and the changing trends of the industry. **Job description** This role will focus on managing a variety of administrative tasks and serve as the first point of contact for our clients. Your ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and maintain a high level of professionalism will be essential to your success. Some of your key responsibilities will include: - Oversee daily office operations, including scheduling, meeting coordination and supply management - Assist with invoicing, billing and administrative aspects of accounting tasks as required. - Support customer inquiries and provide assistance as needed to enhance overall customer support. - Collaborate with team members to streamline administrative processes and improve office efficiency. - Maintain organized records and files, both digitally and physically. - Printing, collating and mailing out various client deliverables and also receiving, scanning and distributing various documents received by the office. **Qualifications** - **A minimum of 3 years of experience** in an administrative or office coordination role is required. - Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. - Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail in written communications. - Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of organization. - Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with clients and colleagues. - A proactive and resourceful "go-getter" who takes initiative to solve problems **Additional information** Applicants with experience in client-facing professional service environments (e.g., accounting, legal or finance) are preferred. Experience and familiarity with Mac computers is also highly beneficial. Our office is paperless so digital workflow skills are critical. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with education and experience. We have health and dental benefits that would initiate after 3 months.
