**ABOUT THE JOB**

Marid Industries Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and energetic labourer to join our team This is an exciting full-time opportunity for an individual to join our growing team for day and evening shift. As part of the production team, you will be responsible to ensure the effective and efficient organization of steel structures coming into or leaving the shop; and may fulfill duties as required for special projects.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- **Organizes steel to be put into the shop for fabrication**:

- **Handles raw materials, finished products and scrap materials throughout the shop and yard**:

- **Maintain a clean and orderly work area so steel can be easily located.**:

- **Administer and complete necessary paperwork**:

- **May load or unload trucks**

**SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPEREINCE**
- **Some high school or completion of highschool diploma.**:

- **Previous experience in a related position relative to the steel industry is considered an asset.**:

- **Forklift, crane and/or Bobcat training is considered an asset**:

- **Safety training an asset but employer will train.**

Metro Halifax. Marid is a full-service contractor unlike many companies in the structural steel business. Marid is a fabricator as well as a construction company with ample engineering capabilities.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
