**Position: Customer Service Representative**

**Location**:Edmonton, AB

**Type of Employment**:Full-Time - Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

**(With flexibility to work extra hours whenever there is a need)**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Advise customers of delays, i.e. weather delays
- Review, investigate, report, and take appropriate action concerning OS&D
- Investigate and/or advise the customer regarding OS&D shipments/undeliverable shipments
- Complete all OSD operations
- Investigate reported OS&D shipments across Canada
- Check the computer for information and/or special shipment instructions.
- Coordinate all appointment deliveries with the customer to ensure the requested appointment makes deliveries
- Book appointments for freight that requires appointment deliveries
- Enter all appointment dates and times for each shipment that is booked for tracking purposes
- Trace shipments
- Provide verbal PODs
- Coordinate specials or same days
- Maintain designated customer accounts
- Knowledge of designated accounts, i.e. Product, customer expectations
- Check messages left in the CS mailbox and return clients’ calls
- Any additional duties as required

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in customer service
- Good oral and written communication skills in English and French
- Good computer skills in MS Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Minimum 1 to 2 years’ experience in customer service
