**What Will You Do?**
- Responsible to understand Erb Dispatch system as it pertains to this position. Responsible to understand all document procedures pertaining to Canada and US customs, USDA and CFIA.
- Responsible to source new quality carriers and have good understanding of their delivery areas and their area of expertise.
- Develop continued partnerships with carriers and ensure compliance in terms of authority, insurance. CTPAT and WSIB. Maintain compliance records on an annual basis.
- Maintain and grow shippers and business based on available equipment with carrier partners and with Erb equipment.
- Analyze load requirements by checking outbound loads. Locate re-loads. Dispatch appropriate carrier. Follow up with customer regarding loading and delivering freight when required.
- Communicate and work with Erb International dispatch to maintain efficiencies and profitability.
- Follow up on possible leads for business. Work with International Account Manager in communication.
- Anticipate customer needs and contact them for upcoming orders.
- Communicate with customers when delivery problems occur. Follow up with any necessary corrective action.
- Provide rates and shipping schedules for customer inquiries. Assist customers in answering questions.
- All other duties as required.

**Who Are We Looking For?**
- Must have a good understanding of market value regarding rates and areas of the U.S. with regards to loads and equipment. Negotiate rates, payment and delivery with carrier
- Must be knowledgeable with Erb business, delivery lanes, equipment locations, shipper requirements, and load brokering procedures.
- Must have excellent knowledge of U.S. geography.
- Excellent communication skills, verbally and written.
- Quality decision making skills, ability to use good judgment
- Positive attitude with proven people skills.
