Bluewater Respite is a private owned business that provides in-home supports, out of home respite care for children, youth and adults with special needs and mental health concerns. Currently we are adding members to our team in our London area.

This position is an Independent Contract and requires the ability to support clients who have a wide range of developmental and emotional needs, as well as Coordinate a team of Workers. The job requires scheduling, managing Clients and Workers, and interacting with Funding Agencies. **The expectation of a Bluewater Respite Coordinator is to work with clients as well as manage a caseload. The job can require you to hire workers as well.**

The Coordinator position requires someone who is extremely organized, a quick learner, can manage their time, has exemplary communication skills, can be flexible, and adapt to ever changing circumstances. This position requires someone who shows strong leadership skills, as well as empathy and understanding with our clients, and workers.

Applicants require experience or background in working with Developmental Disabilities, Dual-Diagnosis, Spectrum Disorder and Mental Health. All applicants must demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team, the ability to intervene in crisis situations and communicate successfully with clients and families.

**This position requires-**

**On Call, Evening and weekend availability**

**Experience with clients demonstrating aggression**

Applicants must possess the following
- Post Graduate Degree, such as Developmental Service Worker or Child and Youth Worker

Experience with children, youth and/or adults with special needs.

Knowledge and/or experience with mental health challenges

Commitment to providing quality of life experiences in home and in the community.

First Aid and CPR

Must possess certification in CPI or willing to complete this training

Access to a vehicle, appropriate insurance, and a G license

Drivers Abstract

Must provide a criminal reference check and vulnerable sector check

**Salary**: $25.00 per hour, and $28 , hour while working with clients.

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- On call
- Weekends as needed
