**Overview**
We are seeking a skilled and certified General Maintenance Handyman to join our team. This full-time role involves performing a variety of basic repair, maintenance, and general upkeep tasks for our facilities. As a key member of our team, you will ensure that our properties remain safe, functional, and well-maintained. Tools and transportation will be provided.

This role is ideal for an experienced handyman with a commitment to high-quality work and a proactive attitude.

**Responsibilities**
- **Duties & Responsibilities**:
**Maintenance and Repairs**
- Perform routine inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Complete basic repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve general building issues efficiently.
- Maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems as needed.

**Upkeep and Improvements**
- Assemble and install furniture or equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance to extend the life of building systems and equipment.
- Assist in improving spaces by installing fixtures or making aesthetic upgrades.

**Safety and Compliance**
- Ensure that all work complies with safety regulations and building codes.
- Address safety hazards promptly to maintain a secure environment.
- Report any major maintenance needs or potential hazards to Supervisor.

**Other Duties**
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests or emergencies as needed.
- Assist in coordinating with third-party contractors for specialized repairs.

**Essential requirements**
- **Certification**: Possess valid certification in one or more relevant trades (e.g., electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.).
- **Experience**: Minimum of 2 years of experience in general maintenance or related fields.
- **Skills**: Proficiency in basic tools and repair techniques across multiple trades.
- **Physical Fitness**: Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy objects as required by the role.
- **Communication**: Strong verbal communication skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- **Problem Solving**: Ability to troubleshoot and address issues promptly and independently.

**Working Conditions**
- **Tools Provided**: All necessary tools and equipment are supplied by the employer.
- **Schedule**: Monday to Friday, with occasional on-call duties for emergencies.
- **Work Environment**: Indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions.

Pay: $42,500.00 per year
