Resident Manager

We are seeking a full-time Resident Manager/Superintendent to live on-site and work at our residential building in Halifax. Come join our team We invite couples to apply.
Compensation: The position includes accommodation of a one bedroom unit within the building plus a monthly salary.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure that the building and grounds are safe, clean, and presentable.
Respond to tenant questions, concerns, emergencies, and complaints in a timely manner.
Build positive tenant relations and communications.
Show vacant units to prospective tenants.
Assist with the move in and move out of tenants.
Monitor building activities.
Cleaning common areas.
Perform basic building repairs in electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems.
Shovel and salt all entry ways during the winter months.
Being available to let trades / contractors into buildings and units as necessary.
Must be willing to work nights and weekends, and respond to after-hour emergencies.
**Qualifications**:
Maintenance skills. Customer Service skills. Ability to multi-task and work as part of a team. Strong follow up skills and able to deal with tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality.
**Salary**: $30,000.00-$40,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
**Experience**:
- property management: 3 years (preferred)
