Cell / Control Operator (Steel Industry Experience)

We are currently looking for two Operators (Control Room, Cell, and Ingot Cleaning Operator) to work on a 3-month project (contract can be extended) on a metallurgical plant located in Sudbury.

We will reimburse for transportation, accommodation and offer a daily meal allowance.

**Duties include but are not limited to**:

- Operate and monitor control room equipment and systems
- Follow standard operating procedures to ensure safe and efficient operations
- Monitor process variables and make adjustments as necessary to maintain optimal performance
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Coordinate with other operators and maintenance personnel to ensure smooth operations
- Record and report operational data and any abnormalities or incidents

**Requirements**:

- Mechanical knowledge and aptitude for operating and maintaining equipment
- Experience in Metallurgical industry will be considered an asset
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to use hand tools, tape measure, micrometers, etc.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $40.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
