**Manager, Family Services - Poverty Reduction**

Jewish Family and Child Service (JF&CS) is seeking a **Manager, Family Services - Poverty Reduction **who will be responsible for the development, management, and leadership of the Poverty Reduction team. This leadership role within the Agency involves the implementation, review, and ongoing supervision of programs and staff within the _Reducing the Effects of Poverty_ (REP) outcome area in alignment with the Agency’s mission, vision and strategic objectives, ensuring a focus on impact. _This is a 12 month full time maternity leave coverage contract, with hybrid work option available._ _This position is outside of the bargaining unit._

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop, implement, review, and provide ongoing supervision of REP programs including Financial Assistance; Opportunity Funds; JVS/JF&CS Joint Employment Program; Camp Subsidy Program; Housing Support Program; Financial Empowerment Program, Food Security Services and Holiday Assistance; funding specific offerings such as those due to a pandemic and other such opportunities.
- Lead the evidence informed program development, implementation, ongoing management and continuous improvement of Agency programs connected to JF&CS’ outcome area concerning REP.
- Ensure that all service delivery is effective, evidence informed, based on trauma informed clinical practice, and responsive through the direct supervision of services to clients in line with case management plans
- Review, triage and assign client cases from multiple waitlists
- Develop and administer program budgets; including the approval of program related expenditures as per Agency protocols.
- Develop policies, procedures, guidelines and standards for Poverty Reduction Programs that are aligned with evidence-informed practices, the Agency’s values and standards, and adhere to funder, accreditation (COA), Ministry and legislative requirements including Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA).
- Establish, maintain and promote partnerships and networks with other agencies, community groups and stakeholders.
- As a member of the Management Team, participate in Agency-wide initiatives and activities related to development.
- Represent the Agency’s mission, vision, and values in the community
- Perform other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**:
- Master's degree in Social Work or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 5 years directly related experience including management or supervisory experience
- Registered member of OCSWSSW in good standing
- Expertise in Poverty Reduction Programming
- Understanding of Sustainable Livelihoods Model is an asset
- Knowledge and commitment to implementing evidence-informed practice and programs
- Understanding of and commitment to a client centric approach, equity, diversity and inclusion
- Understanding of issues of diversity, anti-oppression and anti-racism and their impact on service delivery
- Interpersonal skills, tact and diplomacy and the ability to work with a variety of styles, to appreciate diversity and to manage conflict productively
- Strong planning and organizational skills
