**About the job**:
We are looking for a family lawyer to join our Taerk Family Law family law team in Toronto, ON. We offer a high-quality, collaborative legal experience in a variety of areas including divorce, child custody, child support, domestic violence and post-divorce. We also offer a number of other services including mediation and representation in child-related matters such as divorce mediation, child custody and child support.

**Duties include**:

- Preparing cases for court and managing clients through the case process
- Maintaining case files and communications with clients and other parties involved in the case (such as attorneys, judges, etc.)
- Communicating with clients and other parties involved in the case (such as attorneys, judges, etc.)
- Drafting pleadings, motions, orders and other documents
- Representing clients in court and at hearings before various judges
- Working with attorneys on various matters such as divorce mediation, child custody and child support
- Communicating with clients about cases and with attorneys about the status of cases
- Preparing bills for clients to pay or for attorneys to invoice
- Preparing settlement agreements for clients to sign
- Preparing client pleadings for settlement conferences or court hearings
- Other duties as assigned by management team or senior staff

**Salary**: From $90,000.00 per year

**Benefits**:

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
- Commission pay

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON
