**Longhorn General Manager**

The Longhorn Saloon is seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead our fantastic team and continue our legacy as a premier destination for locals and visitors alike.

This iconic establishment in Whistler is known for its lively atmosphere, exceptional service, and unforgettable events. As the General Manager, you will be the driving force behind the organisation. Your leadership will set the tone for the team's performance and contribute to our ongoing success. You'll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, managing staff, and working closely with our Executive Team to achieve business goals. You will be as passionate as we are about Mountain Culture, driven, and motivated by the community and connections within them.

We are looking to build a team that provides a first-class experience for our guests and members as well as being an engine that places all potential guests into our Gibbons Wheel. You will help create an amazing guest experience as well as guiding the company towards profitability and long-term success with a key focus in driving revenue.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the entire team, fostering a positive and high-performance culture.
- Drive operational excellence by overseeing all aspects of the business, including front-of-house, back-of-house, and event management.
- Champion outstanding customer service, ensuring guests' needs are met and their expectations exceeded.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to maintain the quality and innovation of our food and beverage offerings.
- Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies to attract and retain customers.
- Manage inventory, control costs, and optimize financial performance to achieve targets.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff, providing guidance and support for their growth within the organization.
- Coordinate and host events that align with our brand and elevate the customer experience.
- Assist with hitting venue critical number (Hook Ups), ensure Hook Up completion.

**Required**:

- Community connections
- Previous experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a bar or restaurant setting.
- Proven track record of driving operational success, achieving financial targets, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a diverse team.
- Knowledge of Whistler's hospitality landscape and trends is a plus.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
