- **The Role**:
As the General Manager at The Adventure Group (TAG), reporting directly to the Director of Experience at Gibbons Whistler, your pivotal role involves cultivating a workplace culture centered around Gibbons values while fostering a growth mindset. Aligned with our core purpose and vision, your primary focus lies in driving Team Happiness, Guest Happiness, and Community Happiness. Simultaneously, you are dedicated to steering revenue generation and maintaining a profitable balance sheet. Your leadership of a team of adventure professionals entails ensuring the quality, integrity, and effective risk management of TAG's daily operations, aligning with the overarching vision and values.

**Specific Job Responsibilities**:

- Engage in long-term strategic planning, development, and operational oversight.
- Develop and manage the operational budget, analyzing variances and taking corrective action.
- Oversee maintenance of TAG's assets, including infrastructure, facilities, and fleet vehicles.
- Lead a dynamic team of 150+ members with a focus on HR management and high performance.
- Establish and communicate organizational expectations, fostering a positive culture.
- Manage risk, including critical incident response and liability claims.
- Uphold the highest Guest Experience Standards for TAG guests.
- Collaborate with partners, including contractors and vendors, to ensure seamless operations.
- Communicate critical information and messages to operations leaders and broader audiences.

As the General Manager, you are the guardian of TAG's culture, embodying the highest standards of behavior aligned with the organization's vision, mission, and values. Your leadership is essential in steering TAG towards continuous improvement and success, making the journey enjoyable for both the team and guests.

**Salary and Team Perks**:

- $80,000 - $120,000 annual salary based on experience and qualifications.
