**The Role**:
Are you passionate about nightlife and ready to take the reins at one of Whistler’s top dancebars? Garfinkel's is looking for an experienced and energetic General Manager to lead our team and deliver unforgettable experiences to our guests.

As General Manager, you’ll oversee all aspects of daily operations, from staffing and inventory management to event planning and execution. You’ll also collaborate with the Executive team to develop strategies that enhance the guest experience and keep Garfinkel's at the forefront of Whistler’s nightlife scene. If you're a motivated leader with a love for the nightlife industry, this is your chance to drive Garfinkel's success and make your mark on Whistler’s entertainment landscape.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain comprehensive sales and product knowledge.
- Lead the recruitment, training, and development of staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
- Manage scheduling and oversee daily shift operations providing clear direction on daily programming and product knowledge.
- Attend regular operations meetings focused on profit, revenue, and employee feedback.
- Manage daily inventory to prepare for the next shift.
- Drive key performance metrics, including the completion of Hook Ups.
- Lead quarterly marketing and event initiatives.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in nightlife or hospitality management.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Administration and computer skills, including Microsoft Office, POS systems, and employee timekeeping software.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to handle fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- A passion for nightlife culture and creating memorable experiences.
- Ability to work late hours and weekends.
- Serving It Right certification.
- First-Aid (OFA 1 equivalent) is an asset.
