**The Opportunity**:
The Centre Block Rehabilitation Project is a long-term renovation, rehabilitation, and rejuvenation project of national interest within the Parliamentary Precinct. WSP (in joint venture) is providing a range of multidisciplinary design consultancy services.
WSP is currently seeking a Project Office Administrator / Alternate Company Security Officer (ACSO) to join our project operations team for the Centre Block Rehabilitation Project. You will be working primarily from a project office in downtown Ottawa and will report directly to the Lead Program Manager. As an Office Administrator, you will value the importance of maintaining an organized, efficient office environment on behalf of your colleagues. The role is intended to function as a local ACSO, and if not experienced in this, you will be required to undertake training to function in this role. This role is tethered to the project office.

**A day in the life**:
A day in the life would include ACSO activities as well as general office administration and management functions.
**Office Administration**:
- Management of office supplies, including ordering and distribution, tea/coffee supplies, assignment of lockers, etc.
- Maintain office floor plans for employees and work collaboratively with the Client to ensure optimal office seating and organization.
- Assist as may be required to maintain team contact lists and organization chart.
- Manage hoteling workstations by identifying and confirming seating assignments as required for team members without an assigned seating.
- Coordinate with building security and issue visitor badges as appropriate.
- Maintain, reserve, and cancel reservations within an online meeting room booking system on behalf of the team.
- Facilitate the distribution and collection of mail and packages.
- Support the user experience of visitors, ensuring WiFi, monitors, connections are available.
- Support the onboarding of new team members through orientations, guidance, and general assistance.
- Provide administrative support as time permits, including production of reports, deliverables, newsletters, etc.
**ACSO**:
It is intended that this role include being the Alternate Company Security Officer (ACSO) for the Project. You would on an indirect basis for these activities report to the Company Security Officer (CSO) and will be responsible for the security specific to the Centre Block project. He/she is a technical advisor to the Company Security Officer (CSO) and oversees the team's general security organization.
