Host Capacity Lead

Canada Homestay Network is a remote organization that is seeking a **Full-Time (40 hours per week) Host Capacity Lead** to support and oversee our large team of Host Ambassador's and ensure the overall success of CHN programs.

**More about the Host Capacity Lead**

The Host Capacity Lead is responsible for ensuring the overall success of homestay programs by assisting CHN in recruiting and acquiring hosts, and helping supervise and create framework for staffing, training, and supporting remote host on-boarding. The successful Host Capacity Lead will work to develop a presence for CHN in key communities across Canada.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Supervision and support of our large team of Host Ambassadors
- Cooperating with CHN associated to develop and execute host recruitment & retention strategy
- High personal integrity and transparent motives consistent with CHN's vision and mission
- Codifying and expanding list of host recruitment and marketing tactics
- Drafting strategic documents summarizing areas in marketing, host recruitment, and host retention, and establishing targets based on the analysis
- Timely communication with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders on a regular basis
- Maintaining data integrity in the company database on a regular basis
- Reporting on progress in host recruitment and lead conversion
- Assisting with the management of ad hoc projects to support initiative in other communities
- Must have readily accessible and cost-effective transportation appropriate for these responsibilities; a cell phone for emergency support, a digital camera and high-speed internet access
- Process planning in consultation with the Director of Enterprise Development
- Working from home
- Networking and new relationship development
- Travelling within your local community (up to one hour)
- Contributing to CHN further development of corporate and individual intellectual property
- Learning and understanding cultural differences within and outside of Canada
- Personal and corporate accountability for stewardship of common good and perseverance to achieve desired outcomes
- Presenting information in front of an audience

- Strong technical skills and knowledge of database software products as well as online communication tools (preferably Excel, Word, Filemaker Pro, and Skype)
- Effective business writing skills, strong problem solving and organizational skills, including attention to detail
- Knowledge of CHN policies and procedures
- Knowledge of international students and their cultures

**Salary**: $28.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
