**Volunteer Catering Lead / Event Planner**

Erskine is a Church that is located in downtown Hamilton. Erskine Social Committee is part of Erskine Church and one of our main values is bringing the community together and we try to do that through community events. We host a number of family friendly events that are meant for absolutely anyone to enjoy such as Pine Car Races, Bingo, and Dinner concert events.

The Erskine Social Committee is creating this _volunteer_ job posting in the chance that we can find a generous and capable person who is looking to serve the community through either event planning or through being the Lead cook. As a small organization the volunteer work always ends up in a few peoples lap so bringing in new talent to lead will allow us to put on more events.

The **Catering Lead** is our most pressing need. Our Events can have up to 100 people, we have a well stocked kitchen and some experience would definitely be required to take on catering our events.

The **Event Planner** position is an open invitation for someone to join our Social committee and potentially host an event of something of your choice, as long as the purpose aligns with the purpose of the social committee and overall church's purpose.

**Salary**: $1.00-$2.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Secondary School (preferred)
