**The Position**:
**The Tasks**
- Skillfully build custom crates to protect products during shipping
- Pack and prepare orders for shipment with care and accuracy
- Manage all equipment and responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner
- Direct handling of products throughout the packaging and shipping process
- Manually lift, stack, load, and unload materials as required
- Maintain shop cleanliness and organization to support a safe and efficient work environment
- Follow all workplace health and safety policies, including WHMIS, OH&S, WCB, and internal procedures
- Read and interpret work orders and shipping instructions accurately
- Carefully crate and pack final products to meet quality and shipping standards
- Perform other duties as assigned

**The Qualifications and Requirements**:

- 1-2 years shop experience
- Must be comfortable and experienced with power tools such as skill saws, drills, and levels.
- Steel toe boots
- Physical capacity to perform heavy lifting (up to approx. 50+ pounds) on a repetitive basis.
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent attendance and work record
- Positive attitude
- Willingness to move from one position to the next as needed.

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay
