**Position Summary**

The Shop Labourer is responsible for general labour tasks in production. This position is best suited to very versatile people that know their way around equipment and most hand tools, can read metric and imperial tape measures, are self-starters with a can-do attitude. Must be physically fit, as the job requires many different areas to work in, and some require moving material. Maintain shop cleanliness and do general housekeeping duties like emptying garbage bins etc.

- Full-time position, day shift Monday to Friday 7:30am-4:00pm with overtime available.

**Key Competencies**
- Attention to detail and good hand eye coordination is key.
- Physically fit; able to handle weights up to 23 kgs (50lbs), standing for extended periods.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Document use and numeracy.
- Strong team working skills.
- Reliable and honest.

**Responsibilities**
- General shop labour
- Sanding, washing, moving garbage bins, cleaning floors.
- Regularly lift 50lbs.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in the manufacturing industry preferred
- Availability to work full shift from Monday to Friday 7:30am-4:00pm
- Motivated energy and reliability
