**About Us**

We're looking for a **Pastry Cook** with hands-on experience in **laminating dough, baking scones, cookies, and producing a variety of morning pastries** to join our team at our B**urquitlam** location.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare and laminate dough for products such as croissants, danishes, and puff pastry-based items
- Produce and bake consistent, high-quality **scones, cookies, and morning pastries**:

- Execute daily pastry prep according to established recipes and production plans
- Portion, shape, and finish baked goods with precision and consistency
- Package pastries and baked goods for display and preorders
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work environment at all times
- Follow all food safety and workplace safety guidelines
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen while upholding product quality
- Assist with inventory rotation and communicate ingredient shortages as needed

**What We’re Looking For**
- 1-2 years of professional baking/pastry experience in a commercial bakery or kitchen
- Experience with **laminated dough techniques** (preferred)
- Strong skills in **scone and cookie production** with an eye for detail and consistency
- Solid understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Able to work well independently and as part of a team
- Flexible availability, including **early mornings, weekends, and holidays**:

- A love for scratch baking, buttery dough, and the satisfaction of a well-risen croissant

Pay: $39,520.00-$43,680.00 per year
