**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes.
- Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair, ensuring visual appeal for presentation.
- Assist in the development of new dessert recipes and menu items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety standards.
- Handle food products safely and efficiently, following all food handling guidelines.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Package finished products for display or customer orders while maintaining quality standards.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with guests or addressing special requests.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Pastry Cook or in a similar role within the restaurant or food industry.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, cake decorating skills, and food preparation methods.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in pastry production.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise recipes.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A passion for creating delicious desserts that enhance the dining experience.
