Full-Time Produce Clerk - Temporary position Looking for Non-Student. Why is this role important Our Store Team Members are inspired doers. They help provide a positive in-store shopping experience by ensuring the store is always ready with available products that meet customer needs to live life well. Our Clerks inspire our customers through delightful conversation and knowledge of products. What you'll do - key responsibilities- Provide great customer service by ensuring the store shelves are stocked and by responding to customer needs- Maintain and stock product displays and shelves that meet company standards, and "WOW" the customer- Ensure accurate product scanning and identify inventory needs and assist with ordering- assist with relines and execute merchandising and promotional plans/planograms- Maintain and provide appropriate signage for displays and shelf labels- Receive product, check invoices and complete all applicable paperwork- Conduct temperature checks on frozen and refrigerated cases as required- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the department- Support training and orientation of new staff on an as needed basis- Dispose of cardboard, and other related garbage, including operation of the cardboard baler and garbage compacter- Operate Power Jack and Manual Pump Jack; receive and assist with movement of goods from the backroom to the sales floor- Follow store safety procedures at all times when operating machinery and abide by department health and safety expectations- Other duties and responsibilities as required **Requirements**: - Previous grocery experience is an asset- Able to take direction and follow planograms or merchandising plans- Strong organizational skills- Efficient and self-motivated- Able to lift boxes up to 50 lbs.- Able to stack, push and pull fully loaded pallets of merchandising- Knowledge of Telxon is an asset- Available to work weekends and evenings Who you are- A team player with an attention for detail- Driven and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment- Resourceful and courteous when resolving customer questions- Motivated to learn new things Experience you bring Good news No previous experience is required.
