**Description**:
Altyp Welding & Fabricating is looking for a Journeyman/Journeywoman Machinist. This is a full time position of 40 hours per week.

**Qualifications**:

- Journeyman/Journeywoman Certificate or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to work independently or with a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).

**Experience**:

- 5+ Years Experience (preferred)
- CNC Lathe and Manual Lathe
- CNC Mill
- CAD/CAM Experience
- GibbsCAM Experience is an asset
- Overhead Crane Experience is an asset

**Required Skills**:

- Speak, Read, and Write English
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables
- Program computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines
- Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance
- Verify dimensions of machined tools and parts using precision measuring instruments.
- Critical thinking and problem solving.
- Attention to detail.
- Work area cleanliness.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
