**As a Lead Hand, You Will**:

- Promote, lead, and execute a Safety-First culture for all employees, sub-contractors, and consultants in compliance with Miller’s Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) polices and ensure contractual Health, Safety and Environmental obligations for the staff and public are met
- Provide guidance to team members by leading safety meetings and inspections
- Drive quality, efficiency, budget, and productivity of the operation
- Understand the scope and sequencing of work, support patrollers to plan and prioritize work
- Clean and maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance and minor repairs, as required
- Oversee and participate in the following operations: Spring cleanup, Mowing ROW operations, Structure cleaning, Guide Rails Post & repairs, grading operations, Catch Basin cleaning etc.
- Other tasks as required

- Exceptional ability to multitask in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Ability to be proactive and plan tasks accordingly
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to complete daily paperwork as assigned
- Ability to complete tasks as assigned with respect to deadlines
- Willingness to work assigned days, nights and weekend shifts as required
- A Valid DZ license is considered an asset or willingness to obtain a DZ license
- Adhere to Miller Maintenance Confidentiality requirements
