We put the consumer at the center of everything we do and we’re looking for people who do the same.We are currently seeking energetic, reliable, and hands-on individuals to join our Jackson-Triggs Estates Winery Operations team. As a Cellar Hand, you will assist in all aspects of cellar work, from grape processing to bottling, ensuring our wines are produced safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.This is a contract role that is anticipated to be for one (1) year.Key Responsibilities:Assist with all winery cellar operations including grape receiving, crushing, pressing, fermentation monitoring, racking, and blendingSanitize and operate winery equipment, tanks, hoses, pumps, and fittingsPerform wine transfers, additions, and filtrations according to protocolFollow work orders accurately and maintain clear, legible recordsClean and maintain cellar areas and equipment to uphold strict hygiene and safety standardsSupport bottling and packaging lines when requiredAdhere to all safety, quality, and environmental protocolsParticipate in harvest-related overtime, shift work, and weekend coverage as neededQualifications:Previous winery or beverage production experience an asset, but not required – training will be providedAbility to perform physically demanding work (lifting 50 lbs, working on feet, climbing ladders)Comfortable working in varying temperatures and outdoor conditionsMechanically inclined with strong attention to detail and cleanlinessForklift certification an assetStrong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learnTeam player with a positive attitude and strong communication skillsMust be legally eligible to work in CanadaWhat We Offer:Competitive hourly wageOvertime opportunities during peak seasonTraining and growth opportunities within a leading wine organizationEmployee wine discounts and seasonal incentivesSupportive, fast-paced work environment with a focus on safety and qualityWe are committed to establishing a qualified workforce that reflects the diverse population it serves and we encourage applications from all qualified individuals.
