We seek dedicated Traffic Control persons / Flaggers and Lane Closure Technicians to join our growing Traffic Control team as full-time, part-time, on-call and as needed. The Lane Closure Technician will execute traffic management plans effectively, train new and existing employees, and supervise and direct Traffic Control Persons.

The Traffic Control Person / Flagger will manage traffic flow at work zones and ensure the safety of workers and the public.

**Responsibilities**:

- Direct traffic to ensure the safe and orderly flow of vehicles
- Communicate effectively with job site workers and the public
- Set up traffic control devices such as cones and signs
- Monitor traffic patterns and adjust control measures as needed
- Coordinate with construction crews to maintain a safe work environment

**Requirements**:

- Valid BCCSA TCP Ticket
- Valid class 5 BC Driver’s License with a positive driving record for LCTs.
- Experience in traffic control or related field (1-2 years preferred).
- Availability to work 8-12 hours per shift.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Access to a personal vehicle for commuting to different job sites.
- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety.

**Skills**:

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.

**Compensation**:
TCP wage rate
- $20.00 - $23.00

LCT wage rate - $26.00 - $33.00

Additional pay: Overtime pay
