**Job Summary**
**Duties**
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices.
- Cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and kitchen policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and storage areas.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.
**Experience**
- Familiarity with food handling, safety, and sanitation regulations within the food industry.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy kitchen environment.
- A passion for meal preparation and a desire to create delicious dishes for guests.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
